A: All products are made of real timber. The timber is obtained from sustainable forestry or wood waste. For the finishing of wood in most cases natural oil is used. Wood is a natural product. We guarantee that the product you order will be different from the pictures on our website, this because every piece of wood is unique.
Q: What is it like to wear a wooden watch or wooden glasses? Are they waterproof?
A: Hoentjen Creatie watches or glasses are splash proof, but should not be exposed to water for an extended period of time. It cannot be submerged in water.
Q: Do the wooden products require any special treatment?
A: The wood will become more beautiful as you use or wear it, due to the natural oils released from your skin. You may also treat your watch with lemon or mineral oil on occassion, if you prefer, but it is not necessary.
Q: Are wood products heavy?
A: No, not at all! Wooden products are thin and lightweight.
Q: How well will the wooden products of Hoentjen Creatie hold up over time?
A: Hoentjen Creatie uses a durable, matte, hand-applied finish that renders scratches & nicks less visible. The great thing about natural materials is that they age gracefully. The oil of your skin will darken the wood slightly over time.
Q: Can I clean any of Hoentjen Creatie wood products?
A: We recommend a little rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth to wipe away any dirt on a wood cover.
Q: My purchased got scratched, what can I do?
A: If you must treat a scratch, try rubbing in a little olive oil, but do it with care (a little goes a long way).
Q: How soon will I receive my order?
A: We ship your order within 24 hours of receiving the order (on working days). After shipping, we will send you an instant email with a track and trace number so you can track the package. The average delivery time is 1 to 2 working days.

A: All the gadget products, like the watches, cases or glasses of Hoentjen Creation are usually in stock. In some cases it could happen that an item is temporarily out of stock. The product is still displayed on the website but cannot be added to your shopping cart. You can contact Customer Service of Hoentjen Creation for the actual delivery. "Art objects", furniture, and suchlike are unique products of single edition.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Hoentjen Creatie does ship internationally. Please be advised that international orders can take several weeks for delivery, depending on the mail system of the receiving country. Please note that orders can take 1-2 business days to process the order before shipping. A shipment confirmation will be emailed to you once your order ships. It will have all relevant order details like the tracking number. For the Holiday season, please keep in mind there is a 3-5 Business day window for shipping and processing orders.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/ EXCHANGE POLICY?
A: You may return new, unused items within 7 business days for a full refund of the cost of the merchandise. This is the purchase amount minus the actual incurred shipping costs. Items must be returned in their original packaging and be in original condition. To return your purchase for any reason, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and enclose the mail you have received of Hoentjen Creatie to the package. Items shipped without an enclosed copy of the email may be refused at time of delivery by our receiving department. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
